Your Story Matters

You don’t choose Africa on a whim.
We know there’s a back story to why you want to visit.

Stories give us a glimpse of the past, help us draw strength for the present and give us the confidence to shape the future. We understand how powerful stories are and the importance of telling them.

That is why in Africa, storytelling is a folk art, perfected over centuries. Where everyone is a master storyteller. Because everyone's story matters.

What is your story?

She is Calling

Do you hear?

She Is Calling. She Is Waiting. Arms Outstretched To Welcome You.
After All, This Is Where It All Began. The Source. The Mother Land.

With Heaving Bosoms, An Ample Girth And A Brimming Face, She Beckons.

She Is Vast. She Is Brash. She Is Old. She Is Young.

She Is All Things And Everything. You Will Be At Home Here.

A Place Of Vibrancy. Of Colour. Of Laughter. Of Love.

Whatever You Think You Know Of Africa, The Reality Will Blow Your Mind.

Let Her Breath Caress You. Her Spirit Arouse You. Her Arms Embrace You.

Touched By Love, You Will Not Leave The Same.

Moreover, since the pandemic, African tourism and hospitality operators have upgraded their health and safety provisions, alligning them with international standards to make their destinations Covid-19 safe. When visiting Africa, please observe all hygiene and safety protocols put in place in each destination.

In addition, the US Department of State travel portal has useful and up-to-date information on foreign countries, including their visa and vaccination requirements for visiting American citizens.

Funmi Le Moign - Founder, Reborn in Africa

An ardent promoter of all things Africa, Funmi is a seasoned and respected travel & tourism industry leader.

Her love affair with Africa began over 25 years ago when due to work mandates, Funmi was criss-crossing the continent several times a month over a 3-year period. Not only was she discovering new cities and countries, but she also discovered thriving communities & vibrant cultures, met many warm-hearted people and made wonderful friends along the way. Although African by birth, those trips opened Funmi's eyes to the huge and colourful tapestry of life in Africa, its diversity and beauty. All-together challenging her pre-conceptions of Africa.

Against this background, Funmi’s decision to showcase Africa and its glories was made. Actively promoting tourism to Africa and using travel as a force for good to empower local communities, Funmi is completely devoted to advancing Africa’s cause on the global stage. She leads the Reborn in Africa team by example; inspiring and instilling in them a passion for Africa, a sense of curiosity about the world, and a commitment to serving clients with the utmost care and respect.

Outside of travel & tourism, Funmi is also involved in other direct-action initiatives aimed at improving lives and local communities in different parts of Africa. She supports a variety of causes focused around maternal healthcare, child welfare and literacy. Funmi welcomes collaboration with like-minded individuals, brands or organisations with a heart for Africa.
