Our Programs

Personal, purposeful and poignant, ancestry-based journeys are transformative, sometimes even life changing. Guided by your genealogical-DNA map, we'll work with you to weave the past into the present. An ancestry trail takes you to places on your genome markers (or close enough), offering the chance to reconnect with your ancestral homelands.
The trails vary with individuals, involving specific tribes, customs and traditions. We recommend taking these journeys with family members - siblings, parents, cousins, even multigenerational family groups - for a truly familial experience. An Ancestry trail may involve all or some of the following experiences:
Homecoming Reception in ancestral village
Traditional Cleansing Rites
Traditional Naming or Renaming Ceremony
Age Grade Enrolment
Village Life Induction
ROOTED© - our symbolic tree planting ceremony
Ancestry Trails

Ancestry Trails cover countries in West and Central Africa; including Bénin, Cameroun, Cote D’Ivoire, Central Africa Republic, Congo Brazzaville, Congo DRC, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
Africa’s reputation as the uncharted frontier in adventure travel is well and truly deserved. Due to its vast and varied landscapes - which includes the world’s oldest desert, lush coastlines, verdant forests and untamed wilderness, adventure seekers are spoilt for choice.
Teeming with wildlife, the best safari experiences are naturally in Africa. Imagine a front row seat watching the amazing spectacle that is The Great Migration, one of the wonders of the natural world. Every year, about 2 million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and impala move roughly clockwise from Serengeti (Tanzania) following the rains to Masai Mara (Kenya) in search of green pasture and water. The journey is fraught with dangers and thousands will not make it to the other side alive. What with hungry predators such as crocodiles lying in wait and the swollen belly of the Mara River itself presenting the risk of drowning. Moving and sometimes heart wrenching, the ensuing drama epitomises the struggle for life and survival common to every life form in the natural world.
For outdoor enthusiasts, hiking the rugged terrains of Cape Verde in the West, the remote Karamonja Wilderness of Uganda in the East or the ridges of Madagascar in the South - for example, is bound to surmount any of your “wildest” dreams. And if those aren’t enough, climbing Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania - also the highest free standing mountain in the world will certainly quench any adrenaline thirst!

Adventure Trails
Nuclear, extended or multi-generational, families come in various shapes and sizes. But going on holiday together brings families that bit closer. Think of hours spent wandering new places together. Or, perhaps doing nothing. The excitement of making new discoveries - food, hidden history, mementos, etc. But best of all is creating new memories that last a lifetime. Together.
Africans are all about family. It makes sense to bring yours here.
Take a Family Safari trip - with a choice of staying in tented camps or in sturdy safari lodges, you spend hours going on game drives together, hours staying up to gaze the star-studded night sky together, hours just marvelling at this brand new world. The incredible experience of co-living with wildlife and witnessing the complex interactions between man, beast and the natural world will leave its mark on both the young and the old for years to come.
Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Africa and Zambia offer excellent Family Safari experiences.
Everything is better shared with family...

While some aspects of their storied past may move you to tears, their resilience is sure to inspire.Coming so far to Africa, why not experience the best of both worlds? Enjoy an awe-inspiring, wild bush escape, followed by an exhilarating city adventure. Albeit, African style!
