  • Spend time in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Kingdom, with a visit to Awukugwa - the town believed to be the birth place of Okomfo Anokye the Fetish Priest who conjured the golden stool of the Ashantis from the skies

  • Visit the Forts and Castles of Elmina to see the Slave Trade relics and reenact the chilling journey through the slave dungeons and 'Door of No Return' through which enslaved Africans were sent off to the New World never to see their homelands again

  • Enjoy an exhilirating Canopy Walk at the Kakum National Park - a lush tropical forest and Ghana's foremost nature reserve

Ghana has a stable democracy and is a safe destination for international visitors. Especially for US citizens who are welcomed with open arms. While many regions of the world suffered the Covid-19 devastation, Africa as a whole recorded significantly low infection and low death rates. Since the pandemic, Ghana's tourism and hospitality industries have upgraded their health and safety provisions, alligning them with international standards to make the country safe from COVID-19. Visitors to Ghana are required to observe all hygiene and safety protocols.
